STORAGE CONDITIONS FOR FROZEN FOODS

FREEZING PROCESS SHOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF UNDER PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT.

To freeze vegetables and fruits at home is not recommended since quick freezing process cannot be achieved via conventional fridges at home. Without quick freezing, vegetables and fruits may lose some of their anti-oxidant materials.

DO NOT RE-FREEZE DEFROSTED VEGETABLES AND FRUITS.

Microorganisms in defrosted products begin activity which leads to decay on the product. Thus, re-freezing defrosted products will not ensure maximum hygienic conditions and nutrition levels.

WHAT IS IQF?

  • IQF is abbreviation of “Individual Quick Frozen”.
  • With IQF technique, vegetables and fruits became frozen one by one in a very short time without harming their natural structure.
